The 2018 Scholarship Grant Program for Members is now Accepting applications!

It is our honor to offer scholarships to NMWIF members in good standing. 2018 is the sixth year in the history of our New Mexico chapter that we will award financial grants to further the projects, training or education of our members, and thus their careers. A NMWIF and UNM CE Digital Arts partnership. We have 5 storytellers confirmed including our own storyteller, actor, and filmmaker member Ramona King, and 6 short films, and there will be a few things happening in the lobby for attendees to tell their story before going into see the show. We will have food and welcoming hosts throughout, and tickets are just $5 for everyone. See you there!

NMWIF member Lara Dale just finished a 13 artist short documentary, The Alchemy of Jewelry, for the Albuquerque Museum exhibit American Jewelry from New Mexico. Stop by the Albuquerque Museum to check it out!

Lindsy Campbell's short film, shot in May, was featured in an article by the Albuquerque Journal! She is currently in production for her next film, The Divorce. Read more here:

Catharine Jones' latest film, OM+ME, won the Audience Award at the New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase 2018. Congratulations, Catharine!

New Mexico Film Office

The New Mexico State Film Office serves the film and television industry locally, nationally and internationally. Our purpose is to market the state to this industry, service the productions and promote jobs for New Mexicans.  We offer many resources to producers, film crew and local filmmakers. We work diligently to assist productions with finding potential filming locations. The State Film Office consults with productions regarding the financial aspects of their projects, guiding them through the incentives such as the 25% Refundable Film Production Tax Credit and the Film Crew Advancement Program.
