Acting Technique for Adults

This is a mixed level acting class for Adults .  You will be exploring what it means to be honest emotionally onstage as well  be able to interact authentically with scene partners. No previous experience needed.

Audition Workout Weekend with Ron Weisberg

Brush up on your audition technique at Sol's February Audition Workout Weekend.  Students will learn to create distinct choices for auditions and beyond by using groundling's style character work.  These quick three hour workouts for kids and adults will provide students with new skills they can apply immediately in the audition room.

“Developing the Inner Life of the Character Using an Intuitive Process” – A CelaPhontus Workshop Event Presented by Danute Debney Shaw

This workshop is being offered to the acting and writing community.  If you have ever experienced difficulty working with a character this is the workshop for you.

  • Stuck with a character who won’t do what you want?
  • Working with a vague script and weak direction, or no direction at all?
  • Have no idea where to begin?

Then come work with Ms. Debney Shaw and your peers to develop an approach on tackling those pesky character challenges.  Bring your scripts and character pieces, or any specifically tough scripts you may have to share and work with in the Workshop. Please note: This event is an independent event and not part of the Santa Fe Film Festival (February 7 – 11).
