Experiments in Cinema

Each year, Experiments in Cinema brings the international community of cinematic un-dependents to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA for a film festival that is designed to inspire a new generation of homegrown media activists to participate in shaping future trends of cultural representation.

Youthquake is an annual high school arts festival held in the Santa Fe Railyard located in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Youthquake is a community driven event spearheaded by Desert Academy (desertacademy.org), and sponsored by local businesses and arts institutions, that seeks to elevate the numerous artistic endeavors of our local high school youth. Youthquake is a five day event beginning Wednesday, April 18th with a showcase of student films at Violet Crown Cinema and moving into the Studio Center of Santa Fe, the former Warehouse 21, on Thursday, April 19th for four days of theater, spoken word, slam poetry, music, visual arts, and culminating in a full matinee of films, performances, and student led art galleries on Sunday, April 22nd.
4th edition of the Taos Environmental Film Festival

The Taos Environmental Film Festival enters it's fourth year. The festival was dreamed up by, and is organized by the hard work of Jean Stevens. It incorporates film honoring the land, environment and people of New Mexico, the country and the world, with performance and lectures to expand our knowledge and engagement with environmental activism and topics. The Taos Environmental Film Festival honors our land and showcases all artistic disciplines. Together, artists can support efforts to stop Climate Change.

Roswell Film Festival

The Roswell Film Festival honors International Feature and Short Films of all genres. Special Sections include: General Entry (including Studio Films), Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Independent (Non-Studio Films), Documentary and New Mexico based productions.
