NOTE: Please don't bring your lunch to this event, as no food or drink is allowed in the library. After the presentation, the group can go to lunch in the area to continue the conversations.

WHO: NMWIF Scholarship Winner, Ramona King, won her scholarship for production funds for her film “Coffee Break.”

BIO: Ramona King is featured in roles playing opposite and aside film actors, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman, and lead actor Dominic Cooper in television series Preacher. She's the former host of KUNM Radio's "The Spoken Word Hour",has performed and hosted storytelling events throughout the U.S. In 1999 she performed at the White House for the Annual Family Easter Event. She conducts workshops in Leadership and Empowered living. She's currently doing research for a documentary on family, mental health and "racism". Her solo show On My Own was debuted in Albuquerque and is slated for touring the East Coast. She was of the featured speakers for TEDxAbq Women 2016 "Say Yes to No"

WHY: this is an excellent way to learn what other members are doing, to meet other members and learn how NMWIF annual scholarship grant programs support projects.


HOW: Free to members, just bring your membership card, $10 for non-members
