New Mexico Women in Film Writer's Group

The Writers' Group is a collection of actors and writers who meet to read and give feedback on new work.

The group meets every other Monday from 6-9 PM in Santa Fe.

Writers bring scenes from their work, which actors cold read, followed by questions and feedback from the group. This is a workshop setting for the writers to hear their work read aloud and receive feedback to improve their work. It also allows actors the chance to practice cold read.

The next meeting is Monday, April 20th from 6-9PM at the Community Room of the Wild Oats Market, St. Francis Drive and Cordova Rd., Santa Fe. The location is across Cordova Road from the RailRunner South Capitol stop, if you are commuting from Albuquerque.

If you would like to be one of the writers: Send a cover letter, resume and 10-page writing sample in screenplay format to NMWIFwriters@gmail.com.

If you would like to be one of the actors: Send a cover letter, resume and headshot to NMWIFwriters@gmail.com. Should time or location for the next meeting change, our Writers’ Group Chair, Debrianna Mansini, will contact you via email.
