Agnes Martin Before the Grid Signs Distribution Contract

We are very happy to announce Agnes Martin Before the Grid documentary will be distributed through Kanopy. Members Doing Great Things

Local filmmaker and NMWIF member, Catharine Pilafas, won 1st Place for the Chimaera’s Project’s In (H)er (D)irection Film Competition. Co-Executive Directors of the Chimaera Project, Shana Betz and America Young, created a contest for female filmmakers to make a two-minute film about why they direct, what unique qualities they bring to directing, and challenges they have faced as female filmmakers. The Chimaera Project's Advisory Board includes notable powerhouses, Anjelica Houston and Octavia Spencer.
