New Mexico Women in Film is a New Mexico-based outreach network committed to the professional development and achievement of women in the film and television community through Mentorship, Networking, Education, and Community.

Our membership consists of women and men who wish to develop their professional skills, meet like-minded creative individuals and support the expansion of women's role in the Film & TV Industry. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

2017 Scholarship Grant Program for Members

New Mexico Women in Film is pleased to announce that applications have opened for the 2017 NMWIF Scholarship Grant Program. NMWIF will provide a scholarship grant to members to support their professional and career development for the purpose of positively impacting their skills in front of and behind the camera. NMWIF’s goal is to encourage diversity and promote opportunities for members.

The annual Sage Award was created by NMWIF to honor a person who is dedicated to the 'greater feminine' and active in supporting women in the film and TV industry. We are very proud of our recipients who have received the Sage Awards since its inception: Shirley MacLaine, Lisa Strout, Ann Lerner, Ali MacGraw, Ana Gallegos y Reinhart, Jo Edna Boldin, Monique Anair, and Julia Cameron.

Don’t forget to apply for the 2017 NMWIF Scholarship Grant Program for Members before August 27, 2017! We will be honoring our volunteers and announcing the winners of the Scholarship Grant Program for Members at the Sage Awards.
