New Mexico Film Foundation Annual Summer Soiree Fundraiser

The New Mexico Film Foundation is holding its annual fundraiser at I-25 Studios in Albuquerque on July 22 from 5:30 to 9pm.

We have free food from area restaurants, a cash bar of wine and beer from Tractor Brewing, Live Art with Art Fusion, a silent auction and photo ops in a Western setting and Hospital setting.

$60 per person, $100 couple, $25 student

48 Hour Film Project Albuquerque!

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the Albuquerque, NM area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2018 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, Court Métrage.

Movie-Going and Memoir Writing Class

This class will be examining significant film experiences as subject for memoir writing by exploring memory and free association. In addition to looking at archetypes and icons in Hollywood films, you'll take a trip down memory lane to discover how and why certain films, actors and characters had an impact on your lives through writing assignments presented to the class, observing film clips, class discussions, and brief lectures.

You A Horse & The Filming Industry

Do you want to expand your resume for acting and for crew member to be safe and understand working with horses in the filming industry? This introduction seminar will give you an exciting new take on the filming industry and how having a background with horses and horse riding is valuable. This will allow you to take a peek to see if you are interested in getting horse lessons and have a fun day of horses understanding how it can promote the all around actor or crew member for film. This will be catered and this is not a lesson but a fun information day of horses and film. You can also get more information of our special lessons for people in the film.

July Chubbuck Basic Intensive Workshop
