Points North Fellowship

The Points North Fellowship is a unique opportunity for six documentary filmmakers (or filmmaking teams) to develop their feature-length works-in-progress through a combination of focused industry mentorship, workshops, meetings and a public pitch session at the Camden International Film Festival.

Women in Film/Netflix Finishing Fund

The Women In Film Finishing Fund gives grants to filmmakers working in both short and long formats, in all genres - narrative, documentary, animated and experimental. To apply for the Finishing Fund, the filmmaker must have completed 90% of principal photography and have a rough cut at the time of application.

Pare Lorentz Documentary Fund

The Pare Lorentz Documentary Fund will provide production grants totaling $195,000 to be used in the creation of original, independent documentary films that illuminate pressing issues in the United States. Grants will be made to up to 12 projects that tell a compelling story and focus on one of Pare Lorentz's central concerns—the appropriate use of the natural environment, justice for all or the illumination of pressing social problems.

Digital Bolex Grant for Women Cinematographers

The Digital Bolex Grant for Women Cinematographers offers approximately $10,000 worth of gear and accessories loaned on a rolling basis to any narrative short, music video, or feature film project to be shot by a female cinematographer. Recipients of the grant receive a loaned camera package for up to 21 production days.
